FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
How often does my pool actually need professional maintenance?
It depends on how much you use the pool and the season. Most owners do well with weekly service during swim season and biweekly service in cooler months, though pools with heavy use, lots of trees nearby, or older equipment may need more frequent visits.
What's included in a standard maintenance visit?
A typical visit covers skimming, vacuuming, brushing, emptying baskets, testing and balancing water chemistry, and a quick check of your filter and equipment. If something needs more than routine attention, we’ll flag it before doing any additional work.
How much does swimming pool maintenance cost?
Pricing depends on your pool’s size, condition, and how often you’d like service. Request a free quote and we’ll give you an exact number based on your pool.
Do I need to be home during the maintenance visit?
Usually not, as long as our technician has access to the pool area. Most clients aren’t home when we service their pool.
Can you handle pool opening and closing for the season?
Yes, seasonal opening and closing is available as a standalone service or as part of an ongoing maintenance plan.
What's the difference between maintenance and repair?
Maintenance covers the routine upkeep that keeps small issues from becoming big ones, cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment checks. Repair is for when something has already broken, like a leak, a failed pump, or a heater that won’t turn on. If a maintenance visit turns up a repair need, we’ll let you know and can quote that separately.
